I was working at the library at the college, and a master's program was recommended to me. I went ahead and pursued that program. The architecture, the Gothic-style buildings, the murals on the walls, and the wonderful sculptural ornamentations made the most impression on me. CCNY integrated even more into the community as I continued to work at the college. CCNY provided opportunities for many generations of New Yorkers who have come and gone there.
