Career Success

I chose to attend CCNY because I lived in New York and it was free. The education that I received was certainly key to whatever success I've had. A little while after I graduated, I was drafted into the Army. After completing my two years of service, I started to work as an engineer at the first of the two companies I've been with. I left the first one as general manager of the then publicly-held company's New Jersey operations. It produced ferrite ceramic products mainly for electronic applications. I then became CEO of a small publicly-held New Jersey company in need of a turnaround. It was in serious financial and legal trouble with the SEC. The company produced ceramic-related products for electronic applications. I relocated to California three years prior to retiring and worked from our California division. I spent about 20 years with each company.
