I was accepted to the International Relations Program that I was interested in at CCNY. I enjoyed the campus and, and made a good friend during my time there. We were in the same program, which was great, and that friendship has lasted through the years. I also enjoyed working on my thesis. I found the process interesting, and it helped develop my skills both in research and writing. Working on that project helped me get started professionally. My friend's name was Jacki; we were roommates and had classes together. We were in the same master's program. CCNY helped guide my choice of work, and the things I would become most interested in during my career. Much of the material that I studied in this program became relevant to my profession as a manager in government. My time at CCNY helped foster a curiosity for continuous learning through the present day.
