It was the only school I could afford. I was an immigrant kid. At the time we were extremely unsophisticated. My high school grades could have gotten me a scholarship to college, but it was never in our thought process, especially not to go out of town. My time on campus was wonderful. What made it wonderful was the extra things I did that had nothing to do with education. It was my engineering fraternity, where I made lifelong friends even to this day. It was called Epsilon Nu Gamma. CCNY made my life. It gave me the entrance to good jobs and a lifelong career in engineering and business. I cannot thank CCNY enough for what it's done for me.
