Lifelong Friendships

I had a good friend who lived across the street, and he was going to CCNY. The college also had such a wonderful reputation at the time, so I took the test and luckily passed it. I attended there for two years and then went into the Army for another two. After I got out, I came back and finished my degree. The school had a high caliber of teaching and a high caliber of students. It was a bit difficult because I was older than most of them, but the head of the Accounting Department made sure that I got reinstated back to school, so I was able to come back because of him. I met some really nice people, and one, in particular, became my best friend. Unfortunately, he passed away two years ago, but he became like my brother.
