I was in the urban legal studies program at CCNY. It was a seven-year program that got me into law. I then became an assistant district attorney when I finished. Now I've been a college professor at St. John's University for 20 years. CCNY opened up the doors for me to continue my education. It made me realize my dream, and it was fantastic. I loved it and I cherished it. My son just graduated from CUNY as well, and he became a doctor. My other son is a lawyer. Education is very important to me, and that importance was transferred to my sons, who did well.
