The City College of New York had a good reputation, and I attended for the free tuition at the time. The school was high-quality. I got a degree in geography, and I became a cartographer. I ended up working for some mapping companies. Then I ended up with 36 years at the United States Geological Survey Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program. I was also in the digital reconstruction of the font plan for Washington, DC, and it was published in National Geographic.
