Ioanna Alafris

I wanted to study architecture, and CCNY was the only public university in New York that offered the program. I got a very good education there, and I definitely got my money's worth. I made some lifelong friendships that I still get in touch with, so that's great. I also got my architecture degree there. The education I received was very important to me as well as the friendships I made. As a recent immigrant to the United States at the time, CCNY was my ticket to higher education and upward mobility.
