Jacqueline "Jacquie" Avin, MD

What inspired me to attend the City College of New York was that when I attended there the college was free. Also my older brother had graduated there in the engineering school. I was a biochemistry major, and CCNY was one of the excellent schools. What made CCNY special was that it was located in the Morningside, and I have met some wonderful friends there. I worked at the alumni office.
